Introduction Hard Alloy Tool Steel (K40)
Hard alloy with high hardness, strength, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, known as the "industrial tooth", used in the manufacture of cutting tools, cutting tools, cobalt and wear-resistant parts, are widely used in military, aerospace, machinery, metallurgy, oil drilling, mining tools, electronic communications, construction and other areas. With the development of downstream industries, the hard alloy market demand continues to increase. And in the future, the development of high-tech weaponry and equipment, the progress of cutting-edge technology and the rapid development of nuclear energy will greatly enhance the demand for cemented carbide products with high technology content and high quality.
The carbide cutting tool is 4~7 times higher than the high speed steel cutting speed and the tool life is 5~80 times higher. The mould and measuring tool are made by 20~150 times higher than the alloy tool steel. Hard material that can be cut around 50HRC. But the cemented carbide is brittle, and can not be machined. It is difficult to make complex cutting tools. Therefore, different kinds of blades are often made into different shapes. They are mounted on knife bodies or dies by welding, bonding and mechanical clamping.
Application(K40)
Hard alloy is widely used as a tool material, such as turning, milling, planing, drilling, boring, used for cutting cast iron, non-ferrous metals, plastics, chemical fiber, graphite, glass, stone and steel, can also be used for cutting steel, stainless steel, high manganese steel, tool steel and other hard processing materials.
